Praise where praise is due, not where expected!

on

After I posted the blog about How do you maintain authenticity with your child, I received angry comments. I want to put it out there that I am not challenging you. I am simply asking a question. So I had some more time to research and look up more information because that is what I like to do.

So when I posted the blog about “How do parents maintain authenticity with their child” I was really tackling the issue of meaningless praise. Some times parents praise their children for things when they really wanted to acknowledge or encourage.

So I have attached a link to this page about Meaningless Praise  vs Encouragement. I think it is a good article. Also, attached are articles of Over praising.
